- The trailer has professional music and sound effects which fit the genre well with loud and disturbing brass sounds in time with the genre-appropriate titles which are well made and very professional
- The footage is handheld and is edited to look like amateur recorded on a home video camera and therefore high quality sound is not needed to make the trailer convincing
- The handheld amateur footage is also appropriate for gore as it makes the characters seem like regular people doing something they shouldn't (entering an abandoned factory/trespassing)
- White noise is heard as interference is seen on screen - making the camcorder effect realistic
- Editing - the effects of titles are very professional along with the fitting sound effects- grain and chromatic aberration to make the footage look more like its recorded on a camcorder
- Footage was recorded to look like an old BBC News report
- The location is very appropriate for genre and in a bad condition making it more convincing and easy to film without adding props
Evaluation
- The trailer looks professionally made due to the high quality footage and well made typography and titles
- The actors are convincing and the news report scene looks realistic
