Deconstruction of Titles and Voiceover

Cyberbully (channel 4) 



Cyberbully is a British television film that premiered on Channel 4 on 15 January 2015. The docu-drama thriller stars Maisie Williams as a typical teenage girl who lives her life out online, and is ostensibly accused of cyberbullying by an anonymous culprit.



Titles:
- 'When you go online' (0.04) this title lasts for 2 seconds.
-  'Who can you trust' (0.11) this also lasts for 2 seconds.
- 'Who should you fear' (0.17)  
- In the background the titles are repeated on the black background.
- Personal pronouns such as 'You' are used to aim the trailer at the audience and get then involved.


Voice over:
The voiceover sounds like a robot as if its coming out of the computer.
- 'Knock Knock'- conveys the idea of danger. 
- 'You'll never know' again using personal pronouns involves the audience 
- 'Maisie Williams stars in the one off drama Cyberbully' - by mentioning this young upcoming actress will means that 
- 'Thursday 15th January on 4'- this tells the audience when the drama is aired to increase the number of views. 

We are your friends (2015)
The film stars Zac EfronEmily Ratajkowski, and Wes Bentley, and follows a young DJ trying to make it in the music industry. Through the obstacles that he encounters and with the influence of a charismatic music producer, the aspiring DJ is ultimately guided onto the path that leads him to success.

Titles: 
- 'Study Halls'- 0.08
- 'Liberal arts'- 0.10
- 'Student Loans'- 0.11
- 'Lay Offs'- 0.12
- 'Broken Dreams'- 0.13
- 'This is not our future'- 0.14 - 0.17
- All these titles are related to university and issues in young peoples lives. 
- All have a voiceover of the main character repeating the title out loud.
- Titles are one second long yet 'This is not our future' is three seconds long to show the importance of it. 
- All titles are white, large and bold.

Voiceover:
- 'Things were different for us'- 0.19- This gives hope to the young audiences 
- 'My friends and I...We promote parties'- 0.23- This shows the rough plot of the film
